Exclusively operated in Vietnam by BRG Golf, Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf has long been a familiar destination for golf enthusiasts in Hanoi. In its continuous effort to innovate and meet the growing demand for high-quality golf training for players of all ages, the academy officially introduced its brand-new “Real Golf on Real Course” training curriculum and strategy on August 8.

The first facility to implement this new training model is the Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf at Thang Loi Hotel, while the next campus is set to open at Legend Hill Country Club (Soc Son, Hanoi) in the coming months.

Personalized Training Programs Powered by World-Class Technology

Mr. Mark Reeves, Deputy CEO of BRG Group, delivered the opening remarks at the Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf Experience Day held in Hanoi on August 8.

Two globally recognized golf training programs — the “Golden Bear Curriculum” and the “USKG Player Pathway” — will officially be introduced at Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf. The programs will be delivered by a world-class coaching team among the leading professionals in the international golf industry and overseen by Director of Instruction Eugene Marais, recognized as one of the Top 50 US Kids Golf Coaches worldwide for his significant contributions to junior golf development globally.

Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, also shared insights on the potential of golf tourism and golf development in Hanoi.

The Golden Bear Curriculum is designed to help beginners become competent golfers within just three months. The program includes golf fundamentals, golf fitness training, and practical on-course etiquette, enabling students to fully experience the core values of the game while developing their skills and fostering a stronger golf community spirit.

Distinguished guests participated in the ceremonial first shot during the opening event.

Meanwhile, the USKG Player Pathway is recognized as one of the world’s leading junior golf training programs. It offers children a positive and interactive learning environment — an ideal introduction to golf — while nurturing essential qualities through structured and engaging lessons. The program supports junior golfers through specialized development pathways tailored to each child’s interests and abilities, with the aspiration of helping shape future golf champions.

Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf at Thang Loi Hotel is the first facility to implement this new curriculum and training strategy.

With these highly personalized programs, students will receive tailored training pathways that support their individual interests and abilities, whether they are beginners or experienced golfers. As Eugene Marais shared, his vision is to transform Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf into a center of knowledge, innovation, and community — inspiring a passion for golf across all skill levels and generations.

Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf at Thang Loi Hotel is also the first training facility equipped with the most advanced golf coaching technologies available today.
